Breakfast Schedule Change at Greenwood Elementary. With Covid restrictions loosening, we are going to serve breakfast to all students before instruction begins to maximize time in the classroom. Teachers have been communicating this to students, and we will kick it off tomorrow so we have a week to work out any kinks.
Key points: Breakfast begins at 7:40 am. No changes to K-1 morning routine. For 2nd-5th, any student eating breakfast will enter through the front doors and go to the cafeteria. If students are not eating breakfast, 4th-5th will enter through side gate into the courtyard (no longer the field), and 3rd grade will join 2nd grade on 'V' Avenue.
If students arrive after 8 am, they will still receive a grab-n-go breakfast and head to their classrooms.
Please no worries about understanding changes, because after a few days, students will know exactly where to go in the morning. Thank you for your flexibility as we begin transitioning into pre-Covid routines.

Your donations of cash, food, and gift cards will support the La Grande School District Youth-In-Transition (Houseless) Program.
