This is a last reminder about our return to in-person learning tomorrow, Wednesday January 27. Our A cohort will begin tomorrow, which is students with last names starting with A-K. On Thursday, our L-Z students will attend.
Please remind your student to show up at the correct entrance they’ve been assigned to get to their 1st period class. This information was mailed home to all families and can also be found on the LHS website. Students will need to show up at 8:50 or after, since doors will not be opened before then.
Students should bring their school materials in a backpack along with a water bottle. The water bottle is very important because we cannot allow students to share the water fountains in hallways. We do have bottle fillers on campus. Please also make sure your student is wearing a mask appropriately and is not feeling ill with any symptoms of COVID-19.
Each student will be screened at the entrances for signs of illness, and will then be helped to move straight to their first period class. Reminders for 6 foot spacing, face masks, hand sanitizing, and other key health safety practices will be given regularly and often so we can keep our students and staff safe. Please remind students to dress warmly in this cold weather.
Lastly, if you have to utilize busing to transport your student to school, you will need to contact MidCo Bus Company at (541) 963-6119 as soon as possible. All of this information can be found on our LHS website.
So…the time has finally come for students to be back in their classes in person, and we couldn’t be more excited. It feels very much like the beginning of a school year. Our teachers are ready and eager to get to know students and develop relationships that will help us all learn together. Please help us make sure we can stay safe, to stay in school, so our Tigers can ROAR!

This is the daily schedule for in person school starting on Wednesday, January 27th.

So this happened today. LHS students in conjunction with Barreto Manufacturing designed and created this magnificent tiger.
