CHD is offering a Covid 19 vaccine clinic for ages 16 and older on Tuesday, May 11th. Appointments are available during the school day, between 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. There is no cost for this vaccine. Students can stop by room 22 at LHS to schedule for the May 11th clinic or to add their name to a waiting list to get the vaccine at the School Based Health Center. We encourage students to discuss all healthcare decisions with their families and are available to provide information and answer questions.

Remember the Union County Safe Coalition is sponsoring two virtual screenings for the community. It is appropriate for students. You do need to register for the events. If you register you can watch it whenever you want. The live question and answer part is only offered on May 6th and 11th. Pfizer Covid19 Vaccine at the La Grande SBHC On Tuesday, May 11, the School Based Health Center at LHS will provide a Pfizer Covid19 vaccine clinic for students. Appointments are available during the school day, between 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. Students age 16 and older are eligible to receive this vaccine. To schedule an appointment, call Cindy at 541-663-3330 or stop by the SBHC located in room 22 at LHS. You may also schedule by calling Tracy at CHD at 541-962-8800. If parents are unable to make the appointment, students age 16 and older are able to sign their own consent. There is no cost associated with this vaccine.

The Observer is selling these senior yard signs. The cost is $29 each. These signs would include a picture of your graduate. You can call the Observer to order. (These signs are different than the free signs that LHS is giving to each graduate. Seniors can pick up the LHS yard signs at the front office)

LHS Senior Harley Creech has signed with Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. Harley will be joining the weight lifting team. Harley is relatively new to the sport of weight lifting but will be a welcome addition to their team. Congratulations Harley Creech!
