As we approach the end of 2020, I wanted to reach out with a few updates:
Our Christmas Tree Raffle ends today for online donations and tomorrow for cash donations. We will announce the winners on Thursday and will contact those families to come pick up their tree. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser.
LGSD will have a Town Hall event this Wednesday at 6:30. Connect Via LGSD.TV or La Grande School District on Facebook. Submit a question by emailing reopening@lagrandesd.org. LGSD will look for trends in questions and answer those on Wednesday night.
Also, if you have a student participating in Limited In-Person Instruction (LIPI) groups tomorrow, please make sure they wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. Parents picking up students from LIPI should wear masks and pick up students on the field. Please do not send students who are ill or have COVID symptoms.
Finally, Winter Break will be from December 19 - January 3. We will still be in CDL when we return on January 4. Hopefully, case counts in our community will continue to drop, allowing us to return to in-person instruction soon and we will provide an update on January 4 to report on current county health metrics and what to expect in the weeks following. Keep your fingers crossed!
