Cougar Family! Tomorrow is Crazy Sock Day at Central. Students can also participate by wearing red/cougar gear!

Families who wish to participate in dressing up for Halloween on October 31, need to send their students dressed in Halloween costumes that are appropriate for the day. Students who do not wish to wear costumes will still be included in activities. Here are some guidelines to follow as you decide what costume is best for your student:
Costumes should allow students to complete educational activities and tasks (PE, recess, independent restroom breaks, etc.).
No inflatable costumes - students can’t sit, stand, eat, move and do educational activities in them.
As always, costume masks that cover the entire head of a student will not be allowed.
No face paint will be allowed.

Cougar Family!
As the temperatures drop and the wind picks up, students must bundle up for outdoor play. Please remember to send your child to school with warm coats, hats, gloves, and sturdy shoes. Labeling these items with your child’s name is a big help in making sure the items get back to their owner if misplaced!
Students typically go outside for recess twice a day unless the wind chill brings temperatures below 20 degrees, or we experience heavy rain or unsafe playground conditions. Our playground is located at the back of the building, which doesn’t get much sun in the winter, making the area prone to being wet and slippery. Thank you!
